![]() ![]() This has been a VERY popular series in my library with first and second graders (though I think the reading level is a bit challenging for first graders so I am not sure they are reading and comprehending). It’s a fun adventure and the only thing I found jarring was that the puppy world and the human world exist together. It has longer chapters and more complex plots and character counts than most early chapter books –but still features quite a few illustrations.
